Accessibility Statement
At ceciliaralvarez.com we want anyone to be able to browse and use the site, including people with disabilities.
What web accessibility means
An accessible site lets people with disabilities navigate and enjoy the content as easily as any other visitor, whether through their own system settings or through assistive technology — screen readers or keyboard navigation, for example.
What we apply
The site is built against the WCAG 2.1 level AA guidelines as its reference. Among other measures:
- A single
h1heading per page and a consistent heading hierarchy. - The document language is declared.
- Alternative text on images that carry information.
- Sufficient color contrast between text and background.
- Full keyboard navigation, with a visible focus indicator.
- The system preference for reduced motion is respected.
- Semantic structure and a coherent reading order.
Known limitations
We have not yet carried out an external conformance audit, so we do not claim a certification. Some content — particularly historical material or embedded third-party content — may fall short of level AA. We work on it continuously.
Reporting a barrier
If you have difficulty accessing any part of the site, write to us and we will fix it. We respond within five business days.
